Palladium as a bearer of value
Palladium is unique in its features, indispensable in industrial production. It stores and purifies hydrogen like no other material.

Palladium is a precious metal with a wide range of uses. Its gold alloy is known as white gold.

The use of palladium is crucial in the automotive industry, where it is mainly used for the production of catalytic converters. We can also find it in jewellery or ceramic capacitors, it also dyes porcelain black. Gold-palladium alloy is known as white gold and used as a substitute for cheaper but potentially toxic nickel. Dental alloys based on palladium and silver are also widespread. In addition to precious metals such as gold and silver, palladium can also protect against economic imbalance and inflationary pressure.

Crucial for the automotive industry

The heaviest demand for palladium comes from the automotive industry where palladium is used in catalytic converters together with platinum. Palladium finds greater use in SI engines, platinum in CI engines.

Ecology and emissions reduction

The more governments push to reduce pollution caused by exhaust gases, the higher the demand for palladium will be. Similarly, demand will be higher with growing car production.

Growing demand

Approximately 200 tonnes of palladium are produced annually. However, experts estimate that annual demand is around 500 tonnes. But its reserves are not large.

IRISH PHILOSOPHER AND POLITICIAN
George Bernard Shaw

„You have to choose between trusting to the natural stability of gold and the natural stability of the honesty and intelligence of the members of the government. And, with due respect to these gentlemen, I advise you, as long as the capitalist system lasts, to vote for gold.“
